The problem

A burger restaurant takes orders that change by the minute: extras, sides and notes, paid online and expected hot.

Online orders had to reach the kitchen instantly, staff needed a simple way to move each order through preparation, and customers wanted to know when their food was ready.

What we built

We designed the website and the staff app in Figma and built the shop on WordPress and WooCommerce. Customers browse the menu, add extras and sides to every burger, pay online with Stripe or PayPal and follow their order's status and history in their account.

A custom REST API connects the shop with an Android app for the staff. Every paid order arrives in the app as a push notification with its items, extras, notes and total; staff move it from in preparation to ready to delivered, and the app keeps a history of completed orders.

When an order is ready, the customer gets an SMS. The site is multilingual with WPML and set up with Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and TikTok Pixel.

The result

Every paid order reaches the kitchen the moment it is placed, staff update its status in one tap, and customers know exactly when their food is ready.
